Research: Horrible histories

I began researching the show Horrible Histories, as this is a show that I used to watch when I was a child and remember a lot of history because of it. 

Horrible histories is a historical comedy sketch and musical show. It aims to educate children in a way that keeps them entertained as well as showing parts of history that tends not to be taught about, the gory and gross parts.

I rewatched some of the episodes as they are on Netflix. I found the show really entertaining on a whole, even as an adult. The show has these cartoon characters for each era that are similar to what I am aiming to create.
