Writing the proposal

I wrote potentially a website because it is something that Juan suggested that I should make, however I am unsure of if there will be enough time to create it.

 Here is what I wrote for my proposal:

Major project

 

 

Project description:

 

-       The problem that I have chosen to create a potential solution to is teaching children during the pandemic.

-       I want to create an animated version of a famous historical figure that will teach children about the topic they are known for, i.e., Cleopatra for Egypt.

-       I will be using a combination of Photoshop and Character Animator.

 

Outcomes:

 

-       I want to create an illustrated version of the historical figure.

-       This figure will be known from a topic that is taught within school, as to keep it relevant to the initial problem.

-       I will create a script for the character based on the topic, which will be historically accurate.

-       I could potentially create a website to go alongside the character if I have enough time, the character is the main part of this project and a website is just an extra option to create.

-       Horrible histories: This is a TV show that had re-enactments of historical events, as well as illustrated characters based off of each topic.  https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/shows/horrible-histories

-       BBC Teach: This is a website that has lots of teaching materials for kids based off of school topics. On this page that I linked they have a list of famous historical figures, as well as actors that tell the stories of each figure dressed as said figure. https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/famous-people/zdqdscw

-       Activity Village: They are a website that has learning activities for parents to give to children in aid of teaching. On the page that I linked they have a list of figures famous in various different areas, such as sports or arts, and has activities based off of these figures.
